1029 Round Greenstone pendant with Paua inlay

A small round doughnut shaped greenstone pendant (2.1cm in diameter) with paua inlay and chain. Genuine New Zealand Pounamu (Greenstone or Jade) sourced and hand carved here in Aotearoa (New Zealand). Pounamu is of great cultural significance for Maori and is believed to enhance mana (prestige) of its possessor. When received as a gift Pounamu is said to gain value as a special treasure.
